About us:

My name is Gio Castranova and I am a board certified Nutritionist with a Masters Degree from Loma Linda University and I specialize in pregnancy nutrition. I am a firm believer in the fact that future parents nutritional choices before, during and after pregnancy act as a blueprint for their baby’s health for the rest of its life.

Our Approach:

BABY TIME offers a no-nonsense approach to pregnancy nutrition. It’s simple to learn and easy to follow. Forget the pregnancy myths, learn prenatal nutrition requirements and work hand-in-hand with a pregnancy nutrition expert. We will fill your life with real foods that are great tasting, easy to prepare and healthy to eat.

When to Start?

Ideally starting 3 to 6 months before aiming to become pregnant, to ensure peak fertility through nutrition. However, anytime is better than never . . . start before, during or after pregnancy.

Why do I need to start so early?

It’s always important to remember that if the proper nutrients aren’t being provided in the mother’s diet, the developing fetus will be deficient and take those nutrients from the mother’s body.

What to Eat?

We know that magazines, books and the internet can be very confusing places to learn about the right stuff to eat during pregnancy. And that’s exactly why we are here.

The real question is… to eat or not to eat

eggs, gluten, cheese, meat, fish, whole grains, nuts, soy, peanuts, spicy foods, milk, coffee, chocolate, wine, beer.

Why You?

We know your baby’s health is your highest priority. With that being said, there are no “pause buttons” for your pregnancy, meaning you only have one chance to grow a healthy baby and this is it.

Why Not?

There is no question that you would spare no expense in providing your baby with the safest car seat you could afford. Choosing to invest in your baby’s healthy development is just as important.
